Butler & Cooke


Jomi Butler met John Cooke and it was love at first site! It did not take long for these two star-struck lovers to walk down the isle. They were married at Bon Air Baptist by Jomi’s brother Travis. The reception was held at Willow Oaks Country Club. Dave Marks Photography captured the emotion that was a dream come true for both Jomi and John!

Crissy & Brandon


Chrissy and Brandon met in their teens and have been in love ever since! The ceremony and reception was held at Celebrations. Dave Marks Photography captured all the romantic moments and the festive reception by the pool!

Burnette & Dodson


She was a music major from Longwood; he was an undergrad at Randolph Macon. When Jessica Burnette met Duke Dodson all their friends knew this couple would be inseparable. Ed Small Photography captured every special moment beginning at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church and carried over into Willow Oaks Country Club for the reception. The reception doors were blown wide open by the band, The Janitors! Members of the bridal got up and sang with the band to a pack floor!

Guy & Thompson


They met at Virginia Tech – enough said. Rebecca Guy and Carl Thompson surrounded themselves with a couple of hundred of their closest friends and relatives and partied! The ceremony was held at Bon Air Methodist Church and the reception at Salisbury Country Club in Richmond.

Coghill & Skora


When Alycia Coghill was young she loved hanging out with her older sister and her friends. That’s where this love story begins Alycia would accompany her sister to Kim Skora’s house.  It’s there that she met Kim’s younger brother Brian. As the years would go by there was something special growing between the two. Alycia really liked Brian but was being very patient, Brian was crazy about Alycia and wanted to discover the world with her, now. In December the two tied the knot at Chester United Methodist, the reception was held at Old Towne Petersburg.

Valle de Castro & Hafner


Cindy Valle de Castro met Mark Hafner a few years ago and the whirlwind romance took off! Globe – trotters the two…made for the ideal match for this Northern Virginia couple. It was a lavish affair at the Jefferson. Hundreds of guest arrived to honor the couple. Mark’s groomsmen offered their seasoned wedding analysis and commentaries…folks were falling out of their seats at their ESPN-style spoof. Edward Small Photography framed each moment as the reception went long into the night!

Daniels & Pearson


Father knows best. Ray Daniels walks into the service department to have his car worked on – his service rep Stephen Pearson. One day Ray’s daughter Amanda drops off the car at the dealership and Stephen became smitten with her. The chemistry was there from the beginning. You can imagine how happy Ray was with the union. As the two began dating it was clear to Stephen she was ‘a one in a million’. Amanda was so in love with Stephen the November wedding couldn’t come quick enough! The wedding was held at the Dominion Club in Richmond. Father knows best.

Schaefer & Wilson


Pamela Schaefer first met Doug Wilson at a pool party back in high school. She thought he was dreamy; Doug played the cool card. From their high school days in North Texas through his active duty days in the navy the two stayed in touch. At one point it seemed the two would lose touch through no fault of their own, then one day Doug just couldn’t stop thinking of her and picked up the phone…love bloomed again! They started dating anew and this time Doug wouldn’t let her slip away. The happy couple married in September at the Mankin Mansion in Richmond.

Jackson & Cherry


Judy Jackson and Andrew Cherry met on the board of their community association. It was all business until the day Andrew decided…’ not anymore ‘. Andrew asked Judy for a lunch date one day at the parking lot of a Starbucks…she said no and he said fine…Andrew played it cool and Judy got curious. An old fashion courtship began that would turn into marriage in June. They married and had their reception at the Crowne Plaza in downtown Richmond. During the ceremony Judy’s father serenaded her to his rendition of ‘ you are so beautiful ‘ dad was outstanding as tears flowed.

Bebout & Moorehead


“ Time will tell…we’ll see” was the mantra Pam Bebout lived by when it came to finding her one true love. Like so many who find love then lose it, the right one seems farther and farther with every lost love. Bruce Moorehead is an easy – going guy who saw in her everything that would complete him. Yes, he was well aware of the mantra but he didn’t care, he was in love with Pam and none of that mattered. When he proposed Pam cried…not only did she find the love of her life but also she knew the heavy mantra she carried on her shoulders was taken off forever …Time has told and we’ve seen…!
